Our Training Story and Philosophy
My deepest passion from the first memories I can recall in life has always been dogs. I love the way they teach us about happiness, their ability to bring out the best in us, and the ways in which they engage and connect us. They give us so much and my vision is that connecting with your pup a few minutes a day in an engaging way can bring out the best in your dog and enable you both to enjoy more together.
What started as a local obedience class at age 12 with my Australian Shepherd has turned into a lifelong fascination and passion with training dogs. With many tips and tricks learned along my training and competition journey with a variety of dog breeds, I get to share life with an epic adventure pup to join in on nearly all activities. A trip to the brewery, coffee shop, or hiking trail? My dog is right by me.
I am passionately curious about the way we learn (both humans and dogs) and am eager to share my experiences with you to make it easier to engage with your pup. With clear communication and fun rewards for your dog, I not only believe but have experienced the rapid change in behavior in a positive way that is consistently possible with modern reward-based Positive Reinforcement (R+) training. Plus it's so much more fun. The best part is building a foundation to enjoy so many more activities with your dog happily and confidently at your side. Join us and learn how to enjoy more with your dog and experience it all yourself!

MODERN, REWARD-BASED TRAINING
We are committed to current behavioral science and its application to dog training.
The continuing cultural debate over training methodology has been long closed in scientific circles. Fortunately, leading organizations have taken strong stands for scientifically-sound positive, reward-based training.
These leadership organizations include:
| The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior | The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants | The Association of Professional Dog Trainers | The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals | Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers |
